The mural I made in the school of Beniarbeig (Alicante) is one of the most ambitious and extensive projects I have carried out in the educational field. The intervention covers almost the entire exterior facade of the center, a very elongated wall and panoramic format that occupies almost the entire street. This characteristic transformed the project into a real creative challenge, where it was necessary to work carefully on the composition in order to maintain a coherent visual narrative throughout the entire surface.
From the beginning it was clear to me that the mural should reflect the diversity, energy and vitality of the school. Therefore, I developed a proposal based on the eyes of boys and girls of different ethnicities, accompanied by dynamic color spots and words with positive messages. This combination of elements allowed me to create a balanced design that breathes inclusion, creativity and emotion, fundamental values in any educational space.
The very horizontal format of the wall demanded a visual structure that would connect each section without the mural losing rhythm or intensity. Incorporating children’s gazes from different cultures was key: each pair of eyes generates its own point of interest, while the spots of color function as organic transitions that dynamize the visual journey. The carefully integrated words and slogans provide a clear educational message that is reinforced by the environment.
The result was a total transformation of a drab, gray wall into a space full of life, color and meaning. Students, teachers and families found the renovated façade a more joyful, welcoming and stimulating experience, turning the school entrance into an inspiring environment from the very first moment.
