This work, executed in the bed of an urban river, not only stands out for its stratospheric dimensions -equivalent to a 16-story skyscraper if placed vertically-, but also for the technical, logistical and physical challenge involved in its creation. A true feat of contemporary urban art that transforms the landscape and marks a before and after in the artist’s career.

Un mural colosal que convierte el cauce del río en una obra de arte

The location of this mural is no coincidence: it extends along a riverbed, an unusual place for artistic interventions of this size. This decision enhances the visual impact of the work, which can only be appreciated in its entirety from a great height or through the use of drones. In this way, “Trapped in Time” becomes an aerial artistic experience, designed to be seen from a completely different perspective than usual.

This innovative approach proposes a new relationship between art and city, taking muralism to an unexplored territory where the work becomes landscape, infrastructure and visual poetry at the same time.

Diez días de esfuerzo titánico bajo condiciones extremas

Making a mural of these characteristics in only 10 days was a real challenge. The work days were long, intense and physically demanding. The high temperatures during the painting days put the team’s endurance to the test, as they worked in full sun on the hot concrete. Added to this were complex logistical aspects: the temporary shutdown of traffic in one of the lanes close to the riverbed was necessary to be able to safely work on part of the asphalt.

“I remember perfectly the heat of those days and the satisfaction of seeing how, after all the effort, the drone flew over the mural and showed us the final result. It was an indescribable feeling,” recalls Tardor.

The project would not have been possible without the support of some friends and collaborators, who helped in various stages of production, from the initial layout to the final details. Their involvement turned the process into a collective experience of self-improvement and shared creativity.

Técnica, concepto y composición en armonía

On a visual level, “Trapped in Time” stands out for its fluid and enveloping composition, adapted to the extremely panoramic format of the waterway. The central figure seems suspended or dragged by the current of time, in a visual metaphor that speaks of the passage of time, memory and personal transformation. This theme is reinforced by the implicit movement in the composition, which guides the viewer through the work as if following the course of the water.

The use of color, proportions and compositional balance reveal the technical mastery of Tardor, who manages to turn a difficult and huge support into a dynamic, coherent and emotional canvas.

Un nuevo hito en la carrera de Tardor Roselló

This project represents an important milestone in Tardor’s artistic evolution, both for its scale and its technical complexity. After years of intervening facades, public spaces, institutional walls and international festivals, “Trapped in Time” demonstrates that his artistic vision has no limits or fear of the monumental.

In addition, this work is part of a contemporary trend in urban art that is committed to sustainable, integrated interventions that dialogue with the natural or urban space where they are developed.

Arte urbano que transforma y perdura

Beyond the immediate visual impact, the mural has a transformative effect on the environment. What was once a gray and anonymous waterway, now becomes a space full of meaning, color and reflection. It is a way of reappropriating the urban space, re-signifying it and giving it back to the citizens with a new identity.

This type of action also has a great value in terms of tourism and culture, positioning the town as a point of reference in the contemporary muralism circuit.

Conclusión: cuando el arte urbano toca el cielo (o el cauce del río)

“Trapped in time” is not just a colossal mural: it is a work that fuses art, landscape, collective effort and emotional reflection. With this intervention, Tardor Roselló takes urban art to another dimension, demonstrating that limits only exist to be challenged.

A work that speaks of time, effort and the unexpected beauty that can emerge when art dares to occupy impossible spaces.

["post-2080","proyectos","type-proyectos","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
